RESEARCH ENGINEER - University of California, Davis
The Department of Applied Science is seeking to build a potential pool of qualified applicants for professional research positions in the following fields: (1) millimeter waves, (2) electronics, (3) photonics, (4) plasma physics, (5) tokamak diagnostics, (6) image and signal processing, (7) soft computing, (8) computational physics and engineering, (9) quasi optics, (10) solid state physics, (11) condensed matter physics, (12) lasers, (13) spectroscopy and nonlinear optics, (14) millimeter wave tubes, (15) atomic and molecular physics, and (16) biological imaging.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and kept on file. Filling the positions will occur subject to receiving extramural grant funding in a particular field.
US Citizenship may be required depending upon the location of the position, (e.g. Davis Campus or Livermore Campus).
