UC Davis Optics Club

Many Optics Club members major in Optical Science and Engineering in the Department of Applied Science, University of California, Davis. Optical Science and Engineering majors are prepared in fields such as telecommunications, lasers, spectroscopy and biophotonics. In addition, the low student-to-faculty ratio provides Optical Engineers with abundant research opportunities, access to state of the art research facilities, and personal attention.

Members of the Optics Club have the opportunity to attend events and conferences, speak with students in local high schools and colleges about Optics, network with engineers in optics-related fields, and work on various optics-related projects.
